John Musson

2015 Homecoming Grand Marshal

John Musson was born in Woodlake, California and raised in Navelencia.  He is a graduate of Reedley High School, California State University Fresno, and the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy.

 
John and his wife, Patty, have four children, Steven, Phillip, Rodney and Ruth Clayton, all graduates of Washington Union High School.  The Mussons have seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

 
Following his graduation from USC School of Pharmacy, John and Patty moved to the Easton area where he began working at Easton Drug.  John quickly became a valued friend of the many who frequented the local business, known for its personal pharmaceutical services and store front.  After leaving the pharmacy business, John became a Registered Securities Representative and he continues to serve his clientele today.

 
John Musson has been active in the Easton community, attending the Easton Presbyterian Church where he currently serves as an Elder. John served on the Orange Center Elementary School Board for eight years and then spent 22 years as a member of the Washington Union High School Board of Trustees.

 
He is a longtime supporter of Washington Union extra-curricular activities, including performing arts and athletics.  Over the years, John has supported and attended a wide variety of school and community activities.  In addition to his support of the Panther Community, he continues to attend CSU Fresno athletic events and activities.

 
John has always held a strong belief in the power of education and as a board member was an advocate for quality programs and facilities for the students of our community.
