6 Washington Union students received their Future Farmers of America (FFA) State Degree this past month in a ceremony held at Clovis North High School. In order to receive the State Degree, students must complete a rigorous program including:
- Enrollment in an agriculture class for 3 or more years
- Active participation in the WUHS FFA program
- A minimum of 500 hours worked, in excess of class time, on an Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) project
- Earned at least $1,000 from their SAE projects
